It takes a village

We had the opportunity to create something special for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 40th anniversary of the soccer bowl win. Vancouver’s first and only major North American championship.

I pitched the idea to use timelapse and hyperlapse in conjonction with projections of archive footage to make history come to life. It sounded great until I had to lug a 100lb car battery, a projector and camera gear around the city at night. But it proved to be worth it when the edit came together.
